What is Paid Search Management?
Search Engines such as Google and Bing allow businesses to place ads within their search results to highly targeted, in-market audiences down to a keyword level. There are numerous activities that must take place to have an efficient and effective campaign. Keywords selection, ad creation, testing, performance tracking, and constant bid adjustments are all activities that go into the management of a campaign.
What platforms do you work with?
We manage pay per click campaigns on Google AdWords and Bing Ads. Between the two platforms they cover over 90% of the search traffic in the US. We typically recommend to our clients to only advertise on these two platforms because the quality of search traffic is significantly less on second tier search engines.
Should my business use PPC advertising?
Generating new customers is important for any business to grow and paid search advertising is an essential part of a well-rounded internet marketing campaign. If you require immediate traffic, leads and or sales for your business, PPC is a good place to start.

What tools and software do you use?
We use a mix of proprietary and third-party tools to manage efficient and profitable campaigns for our clients. We are always seeking out the best analytical and SEM management technology to keep our clients performing ahead of the competition.
What PPC strategy do you use for your clients?
Our strategy may include testing several platforms, ads, keywords, and bids. Our primary goal is to generate leads and sales at a cost-effective ROI. That requires extensive research and testing to refine a solution to deliver consistent results.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
Almost Immediately. Pay per Click advertising can deliver near instantaneous traffic to your website. Over time, as we are able to gather data on your campaign results, we are able to shift the marketing dollars towards areas that are achieving better results, thus improving your ROI.
Why is PPC advertising important?
Pay per click offers businesses a predictable and steady stream of highly qualified traffic. It is a vital piece to a more comprehensive online marketing strategy, and is usually paired well with search engine optimization. The more real estate you are able to obtain in the search results, the greater your chances are that a consumer will consider your product or service.
How do pay per click ads work?
Short explanation: You create ads that you want to show up on a popular search engine when consumers are searching for a product or service that you have to offer. You then select to advertise under keywords that you believe best describes your products or services. From there, you decide how much you are willing to pay per click for every visitor that the search engines send to your website.
What are the differences between SEO and SEM?
SEO is a process to obtain better organic, unpaid positioning on keywords within search results. SEM, also known as paid search, are advertising placements found in search results. SEO typically has a better ROI over the long term, but the process can take several months to see results. SEM can have a good ROI and the results are more immediate. Once your ads go live, you could start to experience an increase in traffic, sales, and leads. Both SEO and SEM should be part of a more comprehensive marketing strategy.

What is a Google Premier Partner?
Google has established close operational relationships with a select group of digital agencies. Roughly only the top 2-3% of all agencies have demonstrated the skills and expertise to qualify under Google’s strict criteria. HigherVisibility is proud to have been designated a Google Premier Partner since the inception of the program.
Do you have a bid management solution?
Yes. Bids are analyzed every 30 minutes to determine if an adjustment in CPC is warranted to position the ads for a greater number of clicks at an efficient ROI.
Do I need I landing page to advertise?
In the majority of instances your website will be sufficient. If your website doesn’t have clear calls to action such as a prominent placement of phone numbers or contact forms, a landing page may need to be created. We like to identify if this is necessary on the front end, but at times will want to see conversion rate data come through before making a change.
How much does PPC cost?
The wonderful thing about Paid Search is that you as the client set the budget. We work within your advertising spend to deliver the most qualified traffic that will convert. In the case where you are unsure of what an appropriate budget should be, we will provide you data and guidance on a number that will deliver results. As a rule of thumb, excluding management fees, regional campaigns should have a monthly ad budget greater than $750, greater than $1,500 for national campaigns. Those ad budgets are allocated directly to the CPC costs charged by the search engines. As for our management fees, they are calculated at a percentage of spend with a minimum monthly retainer.
